Simsboro, Louisiana Black and White Wedding Day
Morgan and Read’s elegant black and white wedding at Bella Rouge Venue in Simsboro, Louisiana was the perfect blend of timeless style and joyful celebration. As a Louisiana wedding photographer, days like this are always inspiring to capture because every detail was intentionally designed with classic elegance in mind.
Morgan and Read Areingdale are highschool sweethearts, turned husband and wife in this exceptionally beautiful day filled with classic black and white details, and immense joy.
The couple said I do at The Bella Rouge Venue in Simsboro, Louisiana. Morgan says she loved the openness and brightness of the floor to ceiling windows inside the venue, so she opted to host both the ceremony and reception inside.
Every detail of the day was thought out carefully by the bride.
From the classic invitations, to the elegant gold table wear and white flowers, it all came together breathtakingly.
The black satin bridesmaid dresses paired with Morgan’s stunning bridal gown with removable sleeves and a removable train purchased from Blushing Bride Boutique in Austin, Texas added an elegant feel. To top it of Morgan got custom embroidered sashes for each of her bridesmaid bouquets with an A in honor of her new last name.
For the Groom’s side of fashion, he stood out in a white jacket with black lapels and a custom bowtie made of duck feathers. Contrasted with the groomsmen in all black, he made an impression.
The couple opted to have a first look which allowed plenty of time to get a variety of couple portraits around the venue.
I will always love first looks for this very reason. You don’t have the added pressure of a tight timeline racing to get into the reception limiting you on the amount of shots you can get. At the end of the day the portraits of you two as a couple on your wedding day are some if not the most important shots from the day, so why not dedicate an adequate amount of time for them.
For these portraits we embraced the beautiful, natural light inside the Bella Rouge Venue, and later went outside for a few more portraits after the ceremony.
After a tented cocktail hour outside, guests joined the couple back indoors to a beautifully flipped reception space for dinner and dancing. On their black and white dance floor the couple kicked off their wedding reception with their first dance.
Once some of the formalities were out of the way, the couple had custom made hats passed out to their guests along with light wands to get the party going. The dancefloor stayed full the entire night as the celebration for the newlyweds continued.
When the night was done, the couple exited through a sparkler exit and drove off in a classic Ford pickup truck officially starting their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Areingdale
